Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still have to file homeschool paperwork if my child attends GHSE?

Yes. In Kentucky, parents are the official administrators of their homeschool. GHSE cannot file paperwork on your behalf.

What paperwork am I responsible for?

Parents must submit the Letter of Intent each school year, maintain attendance for 185 instructional days, keep student progress records, and ensure core subjects are taught.

Does GHSE count as my child’s homeschool?

No. GHSE is an enrichment program, not a school. You remain the homeschool responsible party.

Does GHSE provide report cards?

GHSE may offer progress feedback, but parents maintain the official report cards required by the state.

How does GHSE help my homeschool?

We offer structured learning days, academic support, hands-on enrichment, community, and guidance—while you keep full control over your homeschool.
